Photo: instagram.com/rhynos_band Rhynos has released “daze pass” , their new single and second release in their short but intense career. The track follows their debut “1982” and is part of “Guillotine!” , the EP with which the band will make their formal debut in the alternative scene. Hailing from Toronto, Rhynos is a Canadian gutterfuzz and grunge rock duo whose sound blends raw energy with an introspective and rebellious attitude. Their music is designed to channel noise, distortion, and primal energy as a direct form of expression, connecting with both those who feel lost and those who have already found their way. Musically, “daze pass” is built on a foundation of heavy rock, with driving drums, distorted bass lines, and saturated guitars, complemented by synthesizers and psychedelic effects that create a dense and slightly disorienting atmosphere. The result reinforces the duo's identity, combining groove, fuzz, and a desert aesthetic with a contemporary sensibility. With influences reminiscent of projects like Viagra Boys , Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss , RHYNOS opts for an unfiltered sound, anchored in the tradition of the dirtiest and most abrasive rock, but reinterpreted from a modern perspective. Meanwhile, the band continues to work on new music with plans to further develop their project throughout 2026. “daze pass” is now available on digital platforms.
